Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Lazga is an AI-powered software platform for restaurants and service businesses, operated by شركة لازقا للتسويق (Lazga Marketing Company), a company registered in Jordan, with offices in Amman, Jordan.
In these Terms, “Lazga,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to this entity. “You” and “your” refer to the business or individual using our platform.
For questions about these Terms, contact us at [email protected].
2. What these Terms cover
These Terms apply to:
- Visitors to lazga.vercel.app and any subdomain
- Businesses subscribing to the Lazga platform under a service agreement
- Any individual accessing Lazga on behalf of a subscribed business (employees, managers, owners)
If you are using Lazga on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
If your business has signed a separate service agreement with Lazga, that agreement takes precedence over these Terms where the two conflict.
3. What Lazga does
Lazga provides software that helps service businesses (restaurants, clinics, hotels, and similar) automate their customer communication and operations. This typically includes:
- An AI agent that handles customer messages via WhatsApp and other channels
- Reservation and booking management
- Review monitoring and response tooling
- Business dashboards and analytics
- Related operational tools
The exact features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
Lazga is software, not a guarantee of business outcomes. We provide tools; you operate your business. We do not guarantee specific results (more customers, higher revenue, fewer complaints) from using the platform.
4. Your account
When you subscribe, we create a dashboard account for your business. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- All activity that happens under your account
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or our acceptable use rules (Section 7).
5. Subscriptions and billing
5.1 Plans
Lazga is sold on a monthly subscription basis. Current plans are listed on our pricing page. We may update plan pricing and features; existing customers are notified in advance of any changes that affect their subscription.
5.2 Payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via our payment partner (currently HyperPay). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method monthly until you cancel.
5.3 Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation, plan changes, and refund requests are handled through our support team. See our Refund Policy for details.
5.4 Taxes
Prices listed are exclusive of VAT or any applicable local taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise. Where required by law, we will add applicable taxes to your invoice.
5.5 Failed payments
If a scheduled payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), we will notify you and attempt to retry. Service may be paused if payment remains unresolved after a reasonable period (typically 14 days).
6. Your content and data
6.1 What you upload remains yours
Any data you provide to Lazga — your menu, branches, customer information, FAQs, brand assets — remains your property. We do not claim ownership of it.
6.2 What we do with it
We use your data only to:
- Provide and improve the services you subscribed to
- Operate the AI agent on your behalf
- Generate reports and analytics for your dashboard
- Handle support requests
We do not sell your data to third parties.
We may use aggregated, anonymized data (where individual businesses cannot be identified) to improve our platform and AI models. This is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.
6.3 Customer data
Your customers (the people who message your restaurant or book reservations) may share personal information with the Lazga AI. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Lazga complies with applicable data protection and privacy laws in your jurisdiction, including Jordan’s privacy laws and any regulations specific to your industry.
We process this customer data on your behalf as your data processor. The data remains controlled by you.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Lazga for:
- Any illegal activity under Jordanian law or the laws of the jurisdiction where you operate
- Sending spam, harassment, or abusive messages to customers or third parties
- Operating any business that violates Jordanian commercial or consumer protection laws
- Attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform beyond your own account
- Reselling Lazga to third parties without our written agreement
- Uploading malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Using the platform to deceive customers (fraudulent menus, false reservations, fake reviews)
- Any activity that could harm Lazga’s infrastructure, reputation, or other clients
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
8. AI behavior and disclaimers
8.1 The AI is software, not a human
Lazga’s AI agent is software trained to handle routine customer interactions on your behalf. While we work hard to make it accurate and helpful, the AI:
- May occasionally provide incorrect information, especially in the first weeks after onboarding
- May misunderstand customer messages in some cases
- Does not replace human judgment for complex, urgent, or sensitive matters
You are responsible for monitoring the AI’s behavior on your account and for any actions taken by the AI on your behalf. Lazga provides tools for you to review conversations, edit responses, and escalate issues to your team.
8.2 Human handoff
Lazga’s AI is designed to escalate conversations to your team when the customer requests a human, when the situation is outside the AI’s knowledge, or when a complaint or sensitive issue is detected. You are responsible for timely response to escalated conversations.
8.3 No medical, legal, or financial advice
Lazga’s AI is a customer service and operational tool. It is not intended to provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, even where the underlying business operates in such fields.
9. Intellectual property
The Lazga platform, including its software, branding, documentation, and AI models, is owned by Lazga. Subscribing gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform during your subscription period. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of the platform.
10. Service availability
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance, infrastructure issues, third-party outages (WhatsApp, hosting providers, payment networks), or events outside our reasonable control may cause temporary service interruptions.
We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, though we will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant outages and resolve them quickly.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Jordanian law:
- Lazga’s total liability to you under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages (lost profits, lost business opportunities, reputational damage, etc.)
- We are not liable for issues caused by third parties (WhatsApp, your payment provider, your customers, your own staff)
- Where applicable law does not permit limitation of certain liabilities, those liabilities remain as required by law
12. Termination
Either party may terminate the relationship:
- By you: by cancelling your subscription (see Refund Policy)
- By us: with reasonable notice, or immediately if you violate these Terms
After termination, your data is retained for 90 days to allow re-activation, then deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Post the updated Terms on our website with a new “Last updated” date
- Notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect
Continued use of Lazga after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Lazga will be resolved as follows:
- First: good-faith discussion between the parties for at least 30 days
- Then, if unresolved: binding arbitration in Amman, Jordan, under the rules of the Jordan International Arbitration Center, OR submission to the competent courts of Amman, at the discretion of the claimant
Each party bears its own costs unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator or court.
